All workOur product

vetted.tools, the site you're reading.

Our own product: a directory of AI tools, a library of use cases with the exact prompt attached, a weekly brief and a free readiness assessment. We drew the brand, built the pipeline that keeps it current, and rebuilt the whole of it in rounds.

The vetted.tools homepage. The coral stamp and the vetted.tools wordmark sit at the left of a bar carrying Library, Consulting, Updates and Contact, a command K key and a blue 'Free assessment' button. The headline reads 'We build AI systems for businesses, and publish what works.' over a line naming vetted as an AI transformation and AI engineering practice for owner-run businesses, a blue 'See what we do' button and a 'Take the assessment' button. At the right, on a pale blue panel, a yellow note labelled 'Example ad' reads 'AI that runs your whole business. Overnight!' with the last word circled in red, beside a browser card at vetted.tools/tools where Claude is ticked and noted 'tried in 10 use cases', with Vetty, a red asterisk with eyes, standing below it. The 'What we do' band starts underneath with three sample cards: a roadmap, a process and a booking portal.

The brief

One day from the first commit to the first release.

Then 201 commits, 23 releases and eight rounds of review.

What we did, and where it stands.

Brand system

  • The stamp and the seal

A coral stamp for the mark and the favicon, and a seal pressed only on tools that run in a published use case.

  • The pen

Three hands drawn as outlines: blue for the editor, green for facts, coral for the turn.

  • Vetty

A coral asterisk with legs that stands beside things that turned out to be true, and talks when you click it.

  • The brand guideline

One file of rules every page is checked against, from the type scale to where grain may go.

Directory and use cases

See AI engineering
  • The tool directory

Every tool filed in a category folder, with what it costs and how technical it is.

  • The use-case library

Each workflow written up after it ran on real work, with the exact prompt to paste.

Content pipeline

See AI engineering
  • The nightly directory snapshot

Every night a job copies the directory's rows into the repo when they change, so a build still runs when the database doesn't answer.

  • The weekly brief

Five to seven links every Friday, each with what to do about it.

  • Linear-driven lanes

Each change starts as a Linear ticket and runs in its own lane on its own branch, merged after review.

  • The same pipeline as aayushmanchanda.com

Pages here are drafted by agents on it, then read and approved by a person on our team before they publish.

  • Search on ⌘K

Every tool, use case and page, one keystroke from any page.

  • An MCP endpoint

A read-only endpoint an AI client can query for the directory, with no key and no session.

  • The readiness assessment

Twelve questions, and a free score with the three things to fix first.

  • Free tools

Small tools that run in your browser, and none needs an AI account.

  • The activity feed

Every page as it's read, and every release as it ships.

  • The footer field

Something down there moves when nobody's looking.
